Divided cone splitting for tree roots into the ground. Steel protected with blacking.

Head surface hardening of steel, with Double Start Thread. Hardened , No wear on test with file.

Suitable for all woods inclouding extreme hard (e.g. olive Ionian)

Special thread geometry 15mm wide, to avoid tamping from wood with self sustaining cutting edge. High torque is required.

35mm H7 hole. we recommend interference fit on shaft and welded to ensure concentric at high stresses.
